The Muslim community in West Norfolk has condemned the Manchester terror attack and paid tribute to the selfless work of the emergency services.
A suicide bomber killed 22 people at the Manchester Arena on Monday, May 22, shortly after an Ariana Grande concert.
President of the West Norfolk Islamic Association (WNIA), Azam Gabbair, said: 'The Muslim community of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk strongly condemns the horrific and callous attack in Manchester last night.
'Members of the WNIA are deeply devastated to hear the news of Monday night's explosion which targeted concert goers at the Manchester Arena.
'The appalling loss of life and the sheer scale of those injured is extremely difficult to comprehend.
'Our hearts go out to the families and victims who are left in distress and grieve alongside the rest of the country for the people and the families who have lost their loved ones.
'At this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected by this terrible tragedy.
'We would also like to pay tribute to the emergency services for their bravery and to the tremendous work carried out by the Greater Manchester Police.'
