Emergency services attended a multi-vehicle accident on the A47 near Norwich tonight.
A Norfolk police spokesman said that a car left the road near the Trowse turn-off and ended up in a ditch.
Up to five other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the accident.
A police spokesman said there were reports that the road was flooded, immediately before the accident.
One person is believed to have been injured in the crash.
Emergency services were called to attend the scene just after 10.20pm.
