The Friends of Kelling Primary and Year 6 children organized some games and stalls and everyone enjoyed a fun afternoon with a tea party fit for the Queen.

Build-A-Bear’s Bearamy also visited and judged the best regal teddy bear competition, which was won by Stan Spence in KS1 and Joe Lees in KS2.

Kelling Parish Council also presented each child with a commemorative Diamond Jubilee Moneybox.

Headteacher Adrian Platt said: “Everyone had a fantastic afternoon and it was wonderful to see the whole school celebrating this special occasion.”
