Motorcyclist injured in crash on Old Palace Road in Norwich

A road in central Norwich was closed this evening following an accident in which a motorcyclist was injured.

Old Palace Road was closed in both directions, leaving traffic queuing between Clifton Street and Dereham Road, following the crash which happened shortly after 5pm.

At 5.50pm, a police spokesman said the motorcyclist’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, and that the road was expected to re-open very shortly.
