Emergency services were called to the accident on the A1065 at Hilborough, just south of Swaffham, at about 12.25pm today.

The crash involved a Citroen Xsara, a Yamaha motorcycle and a lorry.

The male motorbike rider died at the scene.

The male and female occupant of the Xsara have been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with minor injuries. The lorry driver was uninjured.

The A1065 between the junctions of Great Cressingham Road and the B1108 is still closed and is expected to remain closed for some time.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or the manner of driving of any of the vehicles leading up to the accident should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) on 101.

  • driving 80100 miles a day around norfolk, I am losing respect for motor cyclist, who ride dangerously and without consideration, more and more occasions I see near misses, due to arrogant riders who do not know the highway code, slow down please on bikes
