A motorcyclist who died as a result of a crash in south Norfolk has been named.

Paul Vincent, 61, from Tivetshall St Margaret, died following the collision between a grey BMW motorbike he was riding and a silver Volvo car at about 6.55pm on Friday at Pulham St Mary.

His pillion passenger, a woman believed to be in her 40s, received internal injuries as a result of the collision and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.

Police said the biker was heading towards Starston when, close to a bridge, it was in collision with the car.

Anyone with information regarding the collision or who saw the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
