A car containing a mother and her two daughters flipped onto its side during rush hour this morning.
The silver BMW hit the kerb and some traffic light railings outside the leisure centre on Victoria Road in Diss and the airbags deployed.
Emergency services attended the scene shortly after 8.30am and everyone in the car was able to get out safely and unharmed.
The driver of the vehicle Nikkola Preston from Harleston said: 'It was a pure accident. I was following the traffic down Victoria Road and couldn't have been doing more than 20mph.
'As I approached the lights it goes a bit blurry and I must have been momentarily distracted when the car hit the kerb and then the railings so I hit the emergency brake and we tipped over.'
The 32-year-old was taking her daughters, aged seven and eight, to school in Diss when the community rushed to her aid after the crash.
'I'd like the give a special thank you to the gentleman who opened the door and helped us out of the car,' said Miss Preston.
'The door was too heavy for me and he said 'it's ok, I've got it,' so I started passing him my children.'
A witness who was driving behind Ms Preston described the incident as very slow.
Karen Sinclair wrote on Facebook: 'It was a shocking thing to happen, she made a mistake or was distracted momentarily and hit the kerb and the railings which flipped her over onto her side, quite slowly actually and [she was] definitely not speeding.
'Let's be thankful the driver, a young mum, and her two girls were ok and thankyou to everyone at the leisure centre and from the traffic who came to her aid and got those little girls out safely.'
Miss Preston said: 'The community were amazing and the services were brilliant. The entire thing was dealt with impecably.
'It is still a bit shocking but I am just pleased no one else was involved and we are so lucky no one was hurt.'
She added the police were satisfied that the incident was a complete accident.
