The Anchor Inn at Morston hosted the charity event last night which helped raise just over £438 for the fund, which supports people affected by the December 5/6 tidal surge.

Quizmaster was Sam Curtis, a Gresham’s School teacher from Blakeney, and about 60 people took part.

Ro Glennie, 24, co-owner of the pub, said: “It was a really good night. We wanted to raise money for the appeal because it was close to our hearts. The Anchor Inn and Morston narrowly missed the floods.”

Mr Glennie has owned the business with Harry Farrow, 25, for the past three years.
