Norfolk may have escaped the worst of the heavy snow which brought travel chaos to other parts of the country yesterday, but there’s a warning that more may yet be on its way.
Despite heavy snow being forecast last night, many people around the county woke to find very little had fallen.
Emergency services were called to one crash in south Norfolk this morning.
Fire crews from Attleborough and Hingham were called to help a driver who had crashed into a ditch near Deopham.
The crash, which was caused by icy conditions, happened at 5am.
The Met Office has forecast more snow for the county today and a further 2ins tomorrow.
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.
