Motorists faced delays on the A47 Dereham Bypass this morning after two separate crashes.
Police said a Mini and Mazda both left the road on the westbound dual carriageway near the Etling Green junction.
The road was reduced to one lane and there have been long delays as traffic has built up.
No-one is thought to have been seriously hurt.
Fresh snow has fallen overnight and this morning in Mid Norfolk and temperatures have dropped as low as -4C and the wind chill has made it feel as low as -8C,
The ice has made many untreated roads very tricky for drivers.
