The ‘Yellow’ alert is the lowest warning that can be issued by the Met Office, but still advises people to ‘be aware’.

The alert will run for the East of England including Norfolk from 6pm on Thursday to 6am on Saturday, October 6.

The weather warning comes just a week after many parts of the country were flooded.
