Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after people were reported acting suspiciously around a derelict Norwich pub.

The arrest happened at the Cricketers Rest, in Queens Road, shortly after 11pm on Thursday after a member of the public reported seeing people acting suspiciously around the building.

A search of the building and rear yard resulted in two men, aged 19 and 21, being arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Both suspects remain in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre where they will be questioned.
