A 62-year-old man who was thrown from his horse and suffered spinal injuries is in a serious condition in hospital.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance, Anglia One flew the man to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Saturday.
He was treated at the scene in Gressenhall, near Dereham, by Drs Pam Chrispin and Phil Morgan and critical care paramedic Andy Downes, who accompanied him to hospital arriving at 5.40pm.
The man’s condition was described as serious.
