The emergency services were called to Hall Road, near the Star Inn, to reports of a single vehicle crash just before 10pm.

The man, believed to be from the Halesworth area, was removed from his Peugeot 106 on a spine board after complaining of a neck injury, but an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said he was fully conscious and talking.

He was taken to the James Paget University Hospital, in Gorleston, for an x-ray.
