Crews from Kings Lynn, Terrington and Sandringham attended the scene.

Norfolk fire service said they used hosereel jets to bring the fire under control and breathing apparatus to enter the two-storey property.

One man was taken to hospital by ambulance. His condition has not been released.

The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen of the house. The cause is still being investigated.

Crews took half an hour to bring it under control, but remained on scene until 4.30am.
