Lowestoft police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked and had his mobile phone stolen from in the early hours of this morning (Monday).
The 25-year-old man walked along Raglan Street at about 2.40am when he was approached by a group of four men.
One of the men asked him the time and the 25-year-old looked at his iPhone 5.
The man said that the phone was what he was looking for and took it from the man’s hand.
The victim asked for his phone back at which point one of the group punched him in the face before running off.
One of the men was white, aged in his early 20s, 5ft 9in of slim build with short hair and was wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans.
A second man in the group was described as mixed race and aged in his early 20s.
