A man in his 60s was taken to hospital this morning after his foot became caught in a carrot harvester.
The accident happened just after 6.30am in a field off Lynn Road, Swaffham.
One ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent and paramedics treated the man before taking him to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, according to an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman.
Norfolk police were not called and Swaffham firefighters, who were alerted to the scene, were not needed.
Nearly 3,000 people have supported a Facebook campaign demanding safety improvements on the A47 near Dereham set up after the latest fatal crash.
