An inquest has been opened into the death of a man who was found in the street at Hunstanton.

Jason Athow, 41, of Willow Road, Hunstanton, was pronounced dead at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn on September 21 after being discovered by a newspaper delivery man at about 3.30am outside a house in Hunstanton.

An inquest opened and adjourned in Norwich today heard he was bleeding heavily from a single head injury.

A post-mortem examination established a head injury was the cause of death. Police officers conducted an investigation but found no suspicious circumstances.
