Man airlifted to hospital after road accident

A man was airlifted to hospital following an accident between a motorbike and a car in Norfolk.

The man, in his 50s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, following the accident at Buxton.

He was treated at the scene by medics Dr Anya Wallace and critical care paramedics Rob Riches and Chris Martin before being flown to hospital.

The man was last night described to be in a “serious but stable’’ condition.
