A father-of-five accused of an attempted knife-point robbery appeared in Norwich magistrates’ court today.
Craig Bushell, of Boston Street in Mile Cross, Norwich, faces one charge of attempted robbery at Reds convenience store in St Benedicts Street in the city centre on Sunday July 22.
No plea was entered today and the case was adjourned to Norwich Crown Court to August 15.
Dressed in a blue adidas t-shirt, the 28-year-old was released on bail by magistrates.
•Police are still investigating a spate of robberies in the city during the past few weeks and have renewed their appeal for anyone with information to come forward by calling 101 or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
