A King's Lynn man was rescued after he fell down the edge of a cliff during a late night walk.
The man, aged 49, tumbled off a footpath on Golf Course Road in Old Hunstanton at about 11.50 last night, landing on a ledge 40ft from the beach.
Police, fire, ambulance and the coastguard were alerted after he made a 999 call.
It is believed police officers from Hunstanton scrambled down to help the man who was then taken to the beach and carried away on a stretcher.
Fire crews used an aerial ladder platform and assisted the police.
A police spokesman said the man suffered a broken arm, cuts and bruises and was taken to the Queen Elizabath Hospital in King's Lynn for treatment.
