A man in his 80s has died following head-on crash in Drayton.
A woman, who is also in her 80s and was travelling in the same car, is in a stable condition at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
The two-vehicle crash happened on Friday at about 3pm at Hall Lane in Drayton.
The man and woman were in a VW Lupo travelling along the road out of Drayton, towards Reepham Road, when it was involved in a crash with a silver VW Passat going in the opposite direction.
It is thought to have been a head-on crash.
The 45-year-old driver of the Passat suffered minor neck injuries.
The road, which runs from the Reepham Road to School Lane and the Bob Carter Leisure Centre, was closed for about three hours to allow police, fire and ambulance crews to attend the scene.
The man and woman in the Lupo were both trapped in their car for some time and had to be cut out by firefighters. The man died earlier this morning at the N&N.
Officers investigating the crash would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have witnessed the accident or seen either vehicle beforehand.
Contact Sgt Peter Howlett at Norfolk Police on 101.
