A man collapsed in Sandringham today as he waited to see the Queen and the Royal family leave a church service.
The Royals received a warm welcome at St Mary Magdalene church, where large crowds gathered to see them arrive for an Epiphany service.
But in a dramatic turn one well-wisher was taken ill and collapsed, with a policeman rushing to help.
It is not clear what caused the collapse but paramedics were called and he was covered with a blanket while lying on the ground before being led away.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accompanied the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh to the service.
William wore a blue trench coat over a suit, white shirt and tie, while pregnant Kate wore a fur hat, gloves and a long brown coat.
Kate’s sister Pippa and her husband James Matthews also attended.
