A man arrested at Norwich railway station with a 12 inch knife on Friday evening has been given 14 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months.
Joshua McEnzie, 24, of Pheonix Court, Sudbury in Suffolk, appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Monday where he admitted possession of a bladed article and was handed a suspended 12 week jail sentence.
He also admitted being drunk and disorderly and resisting arrest in Ipswich on January 3, for which we was given three weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and to run concurrently.
For failing to surrender to Ipswich Magistrates Court on January 30 he was given two weeks prison to run consecutively to the 12 weeks.
For possession of the knife he was also given 100 hours unpaid work and made to pay £115 victim surcharge and costs of £85.
