A 20-year-old man died when a car overturned in a field at Heacham.

Police said he was one of four men travelling in a silver Vauxhall Corsa, which left the A149 and ploughed through a hedge at Lavender Hill in the early hours of Saturday.

The 20-year-old man died at the scene of the crash, which happened on a straight stretch of the road close to the BP garage and Silk Road chinese restaurant.

One bunch of flowers left by the roadside said: 'RIP Sheepy - always in our hearts.'

The other three occupants of the vehicle were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

A 19-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the crash has been released on bail.

Police are appealing for witnesses to call the serious collision team on 101.
