A man was rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon after being pushed against a wall by a lorry.
The man, thought to be the lorry’s driver, was forced against a concrete wall and sustained chest and possible abdominal injuries.
The accident happened on Drayton Road, in Mile Cross, Norwich at around 1.35pm.
The man taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a land ambulance, and was accompanied by an air ambulance also.
A spokesperson for the East Anglian Air Ambulance described the man’s condition as “serious but stable”.
The lorry was taken away by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency following the incident and the health and safety executive has been informed.
Naturists are to be banned from a nationally-renowned Norfolk beach following complaints about anti-social behaviour committed in the area.
