Hemsby Lifeboat helped after an elderly man fell ill while on a cruiser on the Norfolk Broads.
The lifeboat was paged by Humber Coastguard just after 1am yesterday morning because the man, on South Walsham Broad, needed assistance.
The Broads inshore lifeboat was launched and tracked down the man and his vessel. He was too weak to transfer to the lifeboat, so the man was left onboard with a lifeboat crewman, while his boat was towed to the quayside.
The man was then taken by stretcher onto an ambulance with help from Winterton Coastguard and Norfolk police.
