In the 21st century a mobile phone is a vital element of modern life and most people use smart phones for much more than simply making calls. But large parts of Norfolk and Suffolk – including major tourist hotspots have no coverage from big mobile operators.
It is simply not good enough.
We want to hear your stories about how this is affecting your business, or causing you safety concerns. And we are calling on readers to complete our "Let's Get Connected" petition form to show providers how poor signal is in this area and the level of demand for more transmitters.
Norfolk’s patchy mobile phone coverage could be improved if companies joined forces to allow users to ‘roam’ across networks, according to county councillors who want MPs to fight for the change.
What is the signal like where you are? Tweet us using #NorfolkConnected and tell us what network you are with and how strong the signal is on a scale of 0 to 5.
We will use the information you give us to create a heat map, showing the blackspots across Norfolk and the best networks in specific areas.
