The owner of a cat in Gorleston which had been missing since Tuesday evening has confirmed his four-legged friend has returned home safely.
Lennie the black cat had strayed from his home in Half Moon near Mariner’s but returned at 2.30am on Thursday morning to his owner’s relief.
Owner, Paul Alcock, said: “When he got back he was hungry and covered head to toe in cobwebs and debris. The bottom half of him was also covered in glue.
“We can only assume he got stuck somewhere but we are really grateful he has now returned home.”
Mr Alcock formed such a bond with Lennie he took him all the way to Dubai when he relocated there a couple of years ago.
He says he has now bought a cat tracker so he knows where he is all of the time.
