Tributes have been left at the scene of a crash near Rackheath in which a pedestrian was killed.
Flowers and cards of condolence addressed to Scott have built up since Friday evening on Salhouse Road, where the collision with a white Citroen C1 happened at around 8.40pm on Friday.
One note, to “Scotty Boy”, said “I wish we had more time” and was signed off “I’ll miss you brother”.
Another said: “I guess they needed a top cheeky angel above. Taken way too soon. Rest in peace little one. Always in our thoughts.”
A man living just yards from where the crash happened, at the Rackheath end of Salhouse Road, described hearing the collision.
Rod Thompson, 68, said: “There was a bang – not a big one, but the next thing we knew there was someone at the front door and they wanted a blanket to cover somebody up.
“Then the ambulance and the police and the paramedics came. I had an idea something wasn’t right because the ambulance was there very quickly. I left them to it because they were handling it all.
“Not long after that they dropped the blanket back.”
The self-employed tree surgeon said cars often travelled at high speeds on the road, and was especially dangerous to pedestrians because of the lack of a footpath.
“It’s surprising how many people you do get walking along the road. There have been a few accidents there over the years,” he said.
“They come along here so quickly.”
