The GoGoDragons! made Norwich their lair this summer, and this weekend they are returning to the city for a farewell event before they fly off to their new homes.
The winged warriors were the stars of the GoGoDragons! charity art trail brought to Norwich by children’s charity Break and Wild in Art, and dragon fans have one last chance to see them at a special event at the Forum which starts today.
“This is a one-off art exhibition with all the dragons” said GoGoDragons! project manager Martin Green.
“This is your last chance to see the dragons before they get auctioned off - come and marvel at the pieces of art which are all ready to wow and dazzle dragon fans.”
The dragons will be auctioned off on Thursday to raise money for Break.
Mr Green said: “It is going to be sad to see them go but it will be exciting to see the legacy that they will leave behind.”
The GoGoDragons! will be on show at The Forum from noon until 5pm today, and from 9am until 7pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. All the dragons will be on display except for the Duelling Dragons installation. The winner of the GoGoDragons! trail map competition - which has a prize of two return flights from Norwich International Airport to a destination of the winner’s choice within the KLM network - will also be revealed at the Forum on Sunday at 2pm.
Tickets for the GoGoDragons! auction are sold out but you can submit pre-bids for the dragons at www.gogodragons.co.uk
