Digital entrepreneurs will have the chance to pitch their innovative ideas to a panel of commissioners and investors at a special Dragons Den-style event coming to Norwich.

Whether you have created a new online service or developed some interesting digital technology, all are welcome to apply to be part of the Convergence International Digital Forum (CIDFo) next month.

But people need to act fast as the deadline for submitting an entry is this Friday.

Those whose applications are successful will then be invited to pitch their ideas at the CIDFo event at EPIC Studios on October 9.

For the past four years CIDFo has taken place in Cambridge, and this year will be the first time it has taken place in Norwich.

It will be a curtain-raiser for the Norwich Sound + Vision festival which runs from October 10 to 12.

CIDFo aims to unite digital content producers, technology developers and investors from the worlds of television, film, music, gaming, animation and online content, and it is described as 'content meets technology meets investment.'

The event works around sessions of 14 minutes - seven minutes to present and seven minutes to discuss - with producers and developers presenting their ideas to a round table of leading commissioners, publishers and investors.

It is free to take part for people whose applications to pitch an idea are selected for the event.
