A large fallen tree blocking a road in Dereham this morning was cleared by police officers.
Police were called to the Swaffham Road, near the George Hotel, at around 10.30am after a neighbour saw the large tree fall.
Graphic designer Terry Symonds was walking his dog when he saw the tree come down.
He said: “It’s just really lucky that the road was totally clear otherwise it [the tree] would have killed a cyclist or a motorcyclist.”
Police officers moved the tree on to the path clearing the road and said that Highways had been informed.
There were no delays.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
