Can you spot yourself at Great Yarmouth race course’s Ladies Night?

On Wednesday the town’s race course held its annual ladies night meeting, which saw hundreds of women enjoy the sun as they cheered on horses and enjoyed a DJ set by former Spice Girl Melanie C.

Women proudly showed off their fascinators and colourful hats and dresses as they counted their winnings or consoled themselves after losing a bet.

The £20,000 feature race, the Diomed Developments Handicap, was won by Hart Stopper, ridden by Jamie Spencer.

The popular event also saw 18-year-old Italian rider Sara Del Fabbro win her first ever race in the Silk Series Lady Rider’s Handicap on Letmestopyouthere.

Ladies Night, which last year featured Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox, is one of 23 fixtures at Yarmouth this season, which runs from April 24 to October 23.
