A selection of Lacons’ ales will be featured at a popular Norfolk pub’s first beer festival and garden party under new management.
The Honingham Buck reopened in 2015 as a partnership between Lacons’ Brewery and Henry Watt, the man behind a number of Norfolk’s best-loved hostelries, who took over as landlord.
Mr Watt said: “This will be our first beer festival and, hopefully, it will become an annual event. Lacons will be moving into a larger brewery in the summer, and as we represent their ales and have such a lovely beer garden, we thought we would hold this event. We have been well supported locally and this will be a celebration.”
The event is on Friday, June 30, 5-9pm, and Saturday, July 1, from 12-7pm. There will be live music on Saturday, a barbecue on both days, and a boules competition. The pub, a former 17th-century coaching inn, is located just off the A47 between Dereham and Norwich.
