A 32-year-old man from King’s Lynn who stabbed a man in the neck with a kitchen knife has been jailed for 10 months.

Dainis Magone, of Portland Street, King’s Lynn, pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful wounding when he appeared before Norwich Crown Court today.

The charges related to an incident which took place on Saturday, September 28 last year when Magone was involved in a fight at a property in Stow Bridge.

The male victim received a slash to his neck caused by a kitchen knife which required hospital treatment.

Magone was also ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge.
