The judge is still summing up in the trial of former BBC Radio Norfolk presenter Michael Souter, who is accused of a series of sex offences against boys, spanning some 20 years.
Souter, 60, of Low Bungay Road, Loddon, is on trial after denying 19 counts of historic child sex abuse relating to seven different boys aged between 11 and 16 , which are said to have happened between 1979 and 1999.
He also denies nine counts of making and possessing indecent images.
The jury at Norwich Crown Court were sent home at lunchtime and are due to return tomorrow to hear the rest of the judge’s summing up.
Judge Mark Lucraft has told the jury they must decide the case only on the evidence that has been presented before them.
He also told them they must not “speculate” and that the burden of proof was on the prosecution.
