From food and drink pop-ups from some of the county's favourite producers to live art installations and talks from Norfolk artists, there is lots to enjoy at Norwich department store Jarrold on Norfolk Day.
The store will be presenting a packed programme of events celebrating Norfolk on Friday, July 27.
Highlights include Norwich author Isabelle King reading from her new book Once Upon A Time In Norfolk in the book department, artist Rob Barnes giving a demonstration of his linocut card designs on the ground floor, a chance to meet The Porch Fairies creator and illustrator Fiona Bishop in the toys department, and the chance to meet and sample Norfolk food and drink at the Meet the Producers event in the Deli and Wine Bar.
There will also be live art installations by Norwich Art Circle at Stationery and Art on Exchange Street and the chance to meet artists Rebecca Pymar and Leanda Hughes at the Jarrold shop at The Forum.
Jarrold trading director John Adams said: 'There is no where better to celebrate Norfolk Day than at an independent department store that has been supporting local suppliers and producers for almost 250 years.
'Norfolk Day at Jarrold aims to highlight the local products we offer under one roof to make it easier for people to shop and support local producers, makers and suppliers.
'It's something that we offer all year round, and now it's the chance to celebrate this at Norfolk Day.'
