Mark Pease, 33, from Noels Walk, Beccles, had been reported missing since October 12.

Today’s Norwich inquest heard that Mr Pease’s body was recovered from the river, but despite paramedics attending, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A subsequent investigation confirmed that it was Mr Pease’s body, and police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

A post mortem examination was carried out but the cause of death has not yet been established. The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
