An inquest into the death of a man who was discovered in a rural north Norfolk stream will be opened tomorrow.
The body of Anthony Howard, 49, of no fixed address, was found by a fisherman on Sunday, August 11 at around 8.30pm between Erpingham and Calthorpe, near Aylsham.
Mr Howard was reported missing on July 19 after failing to attend an appointment in Cromer, where he was often seen. He was also frequently seen in areas of north Norfolk, Broadland and Norwich.
Police officers and firefighters remained at the stream until 2.20pm on Monday when the cordon was lifted.
A Norfolk police spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The inquest opening is due to take place at the Coroner’s Court on Thorpe Road, Norwich, tomorrow morning.
