An inquest has been opened into the death of a man who fell off an electric bike.
Leslie Cristoe, 50, was riding his electric bike along Norwich Road, Horstead, on December 16 2017 when he fell onto the road.
Paramedics attended and took Mr Cristoe, who lived at Norwich Road, Horstead, to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he died on December 19 last year.
Opening the inquest in Norwich on Wednesday (January 3), Jacqueline Lake, senior Norfolk coroner, said the medical cause of death has been given as 1a traumatic brain injury and acute alcohol intoxication and 1b fall from bicycle.
Part two of the report stated cause of death as hypertensive heart disease.
The full inquest was adjourned until June 8 2018 at Norfolk Coroners Court.
