An inquest has been opened into the death of a man in a flat fire in Norwich.

Robert Curson, 62, died on Monday, July 7 at his home in Hotblack Road, off Dereham Road.

Today’s Norwich inquest heard that Mr Curson was declared dead at the scene.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service and Norfolk police, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
