A little girl stepped into a hairdressers for the first time to donate her hair to children struck by illness.
Five-year-old Imogen Loud, who lives in Kessingland and attends Kessingland Primary, went to Mirror Mirror to have most of her long hair cut on March 31.
It will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, who provide real hair wigs to girls and boys whose lives have been transformed by illness.
Imogen's mother, Amanda-Marie Loud, said: 'Last year I commented on how lucky she was to have so much hair, and told her some boys and girls don't have any hair because of their medicine. Imogen turned around and said 'I'll give them my hair then', so we started fundraising for the Trust.
'On the day she was nervous on the way to the hairdressers as she'd never had a proper haircut before, but afterwards she was very happy.'
Imogen has raised in excess of £1000. Mrs Loud and Imogen would like to thank Mirror Mirror and all those who donated.
