A Christian charity which flies aid and medical supplies to remote areas of third world countries brought one of its planes to a Norfolk church which is supporting it.
Hunstanton Methodist Church is raising funds for the Mission Aviation Fellowship, whose Cessna aircraft provide a lifeline to some of the world's most vulnerable people.
'We fly in more than 30 countries taking in aid, taking in relief and medical supplies,' said Nigel Crook from the Kent-based charity. 'The aircraft are all based in the countries they're flying in.'
The methodist church, on Cromer Road, has already raised more than £1,000 to help keep MAF's 130 Cessnas in the air.
Lay worker Julia Warnes said: 'Several of us have supported it for years. It's something that really grabs our attention because people meet humanitarian need, they do all the practical stuff and carry the gospel as well.'
