A small dinghy with no-one on board was recovered about two miles off-shore by the Hunstanton RNLI volunteer lifeboat crew.

Following a call from the warden at Titchwell RSPB reserve, the lifeboat was launched and the crew found the 2.5m fibreglass dinghy opposite Brancaster Golf Club house yesterday morning.

Geoff Needham, for Hunstanton RNLI, said: “As it had most likely broken its moorings or floated off on the high tide from one of the harbours, markings on it indicated it was a tender to another vessel. The lifeboat brought it back to the boathouse, where it will remain until claimed.”
