The free Clutter City Yuletide Weekend is taking place at the Norwich Arts Centre in St Benedicts Street.

Now in its fifth year, this is the first time the event has been held over two days, because of the large number of stall holders who applied.

The event also includes live music from The Woodland Creatures, Birds of Hell, Mari Joyce and Drew McDonnell.

Kelly Robb, front of house at the Arts Centre, said: “It’s quite an alternative, DIY market, based on the more American-style craft fairs, with print makers, illustrators and wooden hand-made jewellery.

“People love it. When you come in there’s a lot of impact with a lot of snowflake bunting in the roof.”

She said stall holders were mostly local, although some had come from as far as Ipswich, and she had her eye on some screen prints and woodland creature jewellery it closes tomorrow afternoon.

A drop-in workshop will show people how to paper-cut a mini Christmas decoration for their tree, taking place from noon to 3pm on Sunday.

The Clutter City Yuletide Weekend takes place until 4pm today, and from 11am to 4pm tomorrow, Sunday, December 15.
