Fans of dressing up will be able to rummage through an eclectic mix of Victorian, vintage and pantomime outfits at a vast costume sale.
About 1,000 items of clothing - from bags, hats and shoes, to 1940s military pieces and 1960s evening gowns - will be up for grabs at The Lobster pub in Sheringham from Wednesday July 9 to Saturday July 12.
The sale has been put on by the not-for-profit group Sheringham Community and Theatre Wardrobe, which supplies costumes to Sheringham Little Theatre, schools, drama groups and individuals from across the country.
Based on the Sheringham Industrial Estate, off Weybourne Road, the voluntary-led group has more than 5,000 items and the sale has been organised to create space for new outfits.
One of the volunteers Libby Henshaw, from Hungate Street, Aylsham, said: “There is something for everybody so come and have a look. You will be able to find something you didn’t know you wanted. It is the most amazing mixture of things. It is not like going to a fancy dress shop.”
The costume group was founded in 1974 and some of the items have been in the collection since that time.
Some of the outfits date back to the Victorian era and others were purpose made for productions.
As well as clothes, fabrics will also be on sale.
The cash only event will run from noon-8pm between Wednesday and Friday, and 10am-noon on Saturday.
Remaining stock will be auctioned off from 1pm on Saturday.
The group is always appealing for volunteers and to get involved visit www.communitywardrobe.co.uk
