Hundreds of people turned out for the funeral of 26-year-old Cassandra 'Cassie' Turton today.

A horse-drawn carriage brought the coffin to Mintlyn Crematorium, near King's Lynn, from the home of Miss Turton's mother, Sandra Hammond-Grant in South Wootton.

Afterwards, family and guests went to the Bank House in Lynn, where Miss Turton was a restaurant supervisor, for a celebration of her life.

The service was conducted by Hazel Warken, civil funeral celebrant, who said that Miss Turton would be greatly missed.

Three songs were played - 'Little Bird' by Ed Sheeran was the entrance music followed by 'If I Die Young' by The Band Perry and 'Bye Bye' by Mariah Carey.

Cassandra Turton, who was known as Cassie, of Park Avenue, King's Lynn, died in Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, on February 14.

An inquest has heard that Miss Turton died from an overdose of her prescribed medication.

Tributes have been paid to Miss Turton, who was pregnant.

Her mother said her daughter had a wicked sense of humour and said they had their belly buttons pierced together.
