Firefighters were called to a house fire in King's Lynn.
Crews from King's Lynn north and south attended the incident on Jarvis Road this morning (Monday, April 9).
An ambulance spokesman said an ambulance crew and an ambulance officer were sent to the scene where they treated two patients.
A woman suffered from smoke inhalation and a man had minor burns to his head.
Both patients were transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further care.
The alarm was raised just before 10.30am. Norfolk fire service said crews used hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to put out the flames.
They also used a thermal image camera to check for hot spots and a positive pressure ventilation fan to disperse smoke.
Appliances left the scene at 11.15am.
