Horse stuck in dyke at Oxnead

Firefighters and a vet were called to help a horse which became stuck in a water-filled dyke near Aylsham yesterday afternoon.

Crews from Aylsham, Carrow and Wroxham attended and helped a vet to manually release the animal. The incident, which lasted about half an hour, happened in a field, off The Street, at Oxnead. The horse is believed to have been unharmed.
